If Words Were Wind by Aiden Brady
These cassette-based compositions are a revisitation of previous interviews and oral histories collected as part of Aiden Brady's practice. These have been revisited to prompt questions around the storage and archiving of human-geographical materials, such as interviews detailing people's lives, where those materials have been collected for an art context. Are these materials entirely defined by exhibition purposes, or can they have a life of their own?
Half People & Half Bicycles by Jonathan Brennan
An immersive cycle from the artist's home to DAS Belfast (recorded in 360 video, December 2024)
'People who spend most of their natural lives riding iron bicycles over the rocky roadsteads of this parish get their personalities mixed up with the personalities of their bicycle as a result of the interchanging of the atoms of each of them, and you would be surprised at the number of people in these parts who nearly are half people and half bicycles'. (Flann O'Brien, The Third Policeman).
Ascend /\ by Graham Robinson
