Our Production Lab is a versatile space that is available to hire on a daily basis,
situated on the first floor of our studio and conveniently located
in the Cathedral Quarter, Belfast
The Production Lab is a space where artists can create, test and showcase digitally focused work. It can also be booked for a range of events, such as artists’ talks, screenings, group critiques, meetings, research, video projection, photography, ambisonic audio, installation development and exhibition.

DAS Production Lab Amenities:
Approx 32 square meters of configurable space

4-channel Genelec 4410A Smart IP Installation Speakers
Apple MacMini
75” & 50” Television screens
Black, white & green screen photography/video backgrounds
LED RGB & Bicolour lighting panels
Access to digital production tools and entry-level immersive equipment
Users will have access to a wide range of digital production tools including entry-level immersive kit and can use the space for an array of purposes including video and photography shooting, and exploring ambisonic or multi-channel sound art.
Any additional equipment required for projects will be subject to the standard/members’ hire rate.

Additional Notes:
• Rates include use of standard equipment (lighting, projector, speakers, blackout curtains).
• Additional equipment hire (e.g., XR gear, cameras) will follow standard DAS hire rates.
• Weekend/After-Hours Bookings may incur a 10% surcharge.
• Membership details can be found here.
Booking & Payment Terms
• Bookings must be made at least 48 hours in advance
• A 50% deposit is required to confirm the booking. The remaining balance is due before the booking date.
• Payments can be made via bank transfer, or debit card.
• Bookings are only confirmed once payment is received, and DAS staff provide written confirmation.
