DAS holds a wide range of audio-visual equipment that is accessible to all artists, community groups and the general public.
Much of the equipment is too expensive for individual artists or groups to buy and maintain so DAS takes responsibility for acquiring when possible, the most professional equipment available for shared use.
You can find a list of the current equipment we have to rent. Please note that you must be a member of DAS to take advantage of these services.
We have memberships available for Individual Artists and Organisations.
Our Individual Artist Membership costs £50 per year and includes:

Membership & Equipment Hire
Hire Our Studio Room
Our first floor is available to hire on a daily basis and it is conveniently located in the Cathedral Quarter, Belfast.
It can be used for video production, testing ideas, researching and creating project work, exhibition and installation development, photography, and meetings.
Our Daily Rate = £150 (20% discount for members)
It is a 30msq studio room*, with large windows providing natural daylight and black-out blinds. The hire includes Wifi, and tea/coffee facilities. We have 5 tables and 10 chairs that can be included to your requirement.
The studio hire can include one of the following set-ups:
• iMac workstation with Adobe CC.
• Photography lights and backdrop/green screen.
• Video projector with speakers
Further equipment and technical assistance can be provided at an additional cost.
*Please note that the studio is on the first floor accessible only by stairs.
