Vicky Davis
Vicki Davis is a conceptual artist from Cork, based in Belfast. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Visual Art from the Technological University Dublin based on Sherkin Island, and a Master’s Degree in Film Production from Ulster University. Her practice is multidisciplinary and she expresses herself using her body through performance-art, experimental film, immersive sculptural installation, photography and sound. Vicki is inspired by the history and advancement of neuroscience, mental health, well-being and societal conformities. Participation is a large factor in her work, where either you activate the work, or she does. Her work has exhibited at Cork Midsummer Festival, Skibbereen Arts Festival, Uillinn; West Cork Arts Centre, Cinesalon Experimental Film Festival, IndieCork Film Festival and Contemporary Irish Arts Centre, Los Angelas.
While on residency at Digital Arts Studios, Vicki will be further developing her immersive arts practice while exploring how to narrate and bring a story to life across multiple screens. She will be exploring green screen editing techniques, photographic animation, projection mapping and immersive sound techniques to produce a new project idea.
Residency Period: December ‘25 - March ‘26
