Digital Audio Production

This intensive workshop introduces participants to digital music production, sound engineering and methods of digital audio recording. Using Ableton Live to create, mix and output audio the workshop will introduce the core elements of loop editing, midi sequencing/control, sampling, synthesis and using the platform for live performance, DJ-ing and creating soundtracks for film & video. Participants will make their own live recordings using a variety of microphones and use Audacity to input and edit audio files. All equipment will be provided and participants are encouraged to bring along their own samples or recordings to work with.
