Digital Arts Studios Call for Facilitators

The Digital Arts Studios is expanding its pool of workshop facilitators and invites applications from creative and skilled individuals.

Applicants must submit a recent CV detailing all relevant experience along with a cover letter outlining why they wish to work for the Digital Arts Studios and what they feel they can contribute to the DAS workshop programme. Applicants should also provide a brief outline of their proposed workshop, specifying their area/s of expertise.

Successful applicants will be invited to attend for interview following which their workshop may be scheduled in the DAS workshop programme. Current DAS facilitators are also invited to submit proposals for workshops.

All DAS facilitators must meet the following requirements:

• Provide creative learning approaches to proposed programmes
• Provide a clear outline of what their workshop covers
• Provide clear workshops notes/handouts
• Have previous experience in their field demonstrating a commitment to creative learning
• Willingness to participate in training (e.g. Child Protection, Training for Trainers, Disability Awareness, Health and Safety.)
• Adherence to Digital Arts Studios policies and procedures

DAS currently runs workshops in Final Cut Pro, Flash, After Effects, Digital Audio Production, Digital Filmmaking, Graphic Design, Web Design for beginners & DIY Noise Synth Machine-making. All proposals will be considered for inclusion in our workshop programme including but not limited to, workshops in the areas of:

Sound recording, Lighting, Smartphone App building, Digital animation/Wacom tablet use, Digital Story Boarding, Digital Drawing, MAX Msp etc.
